Diaries Of An Immigrant Soul, Pt.6: my happy new year... the aftermath

A Poem by A.r. Bazian
"

i started this poem 2 months after She passed away... note: She Passed Away On 29/11/2005... never finished it until i found it like 6 months ago under my bed! so thats why it still caries the same title...

[Diaries Of An Immigrant Soul, Pt.6: my happy new year... the aftermath]

they came to me last night...
to wish me a happy new year
they needn't to understand me...
yet they've seen my fear!
they know not... why i shed my tear!!
they say i can control it...
but they've never seen it clear!
for with every page that turns...
it comes done this year...
the further i go with my memories...
the more my end grows near...
like pages from the cover...
the more through my book...
the further we are my lover!
like shades from the reaper's breath?
like leaves they hover...
he stands beyond my horizon...
still like a monument of sorrow...
and its hard...
painful...
how my life goes drained, by the hands of time...
as his breath blow my pages to turn!
and his scythe rips away my flesh
to toss into the flames... along with my sins!
he in which we before...
stand all the same!
blazing with our flame but so full of shame!

both waiting for the journey to end...
but there's many a page in my book....
its true some names are missed...
those glorious lives he took...
and so a new page, was turned last night...
let the ray of light...
shine through my blind sight...
for i need no savior...
i need no knight...
the rhymes of metal and steel...
once again...
got me through this fight...
i can see no future,,,
i can see no horizon...
i can only see beyond my choice...
and it seems so bright!

The effusion of ellipses blinds me.
