The Untold Story

The Untold Story

A Poem by abbybroncos

Sometimes she lays awake

at night unconscious of the day gone by,

Sometimes she weeps in

sorrows,

Sometimes she wonders if

there’ll be new joy in the tomorrow,

in a darkened room she sorts through thoughts within her busy head

What will she do, what

had she done, what could she have said?

She wonders after all she

did how this could be her last request

After all for all that

time she felt that she had been truly blessed

Blessed with a curse of a

loving heart broken into two

But it was not a waste

for her-within that time she grew

Grew to realize peoples

ways and how they could deceive her

She helps them, keeps

them on their feet and suddenly they leave her

Leave her alone in this

shadowed room with No explanation

But given the chance She

would go back to hell with no hesitation

She combed through every

laugh, every tear, and lie

she would finally rest

her head and cry

but when at last she fell

asleep in her dreams she’d fly.

I've been writing since I was about 12. Since then I've probably written only 2 full novels (which were both on different computers and are now lost in cyber-space which in hindsight is probably a goo.. more..
