tell me, what's my lesson

tell me, what's my lesson

A Poem by Girl

I’m not a necessity,

I’m not a priority.

I wonder if I even mean anything any more.

You’re held within a demon’s grasp,

And no one can reach you.

Maniacal laughter erupts,

Controlling the aspects.

just another swallow away,

a laugh, a gesture.

you’re heart doesn’t lead you anymore.

an empty mind doesn’t do anyone good,

so just stop playing around.

your lies and deception fool me,

but i’m just a blank face on a canvas.

stop your wicked smiling,

it burns what soul i have left.

to torture and torment is agonizing,

but you won’t stop until i shatter…
