Come back.

Come back.

A Poem by abhas
"

some anger needs to be replenished after a while...

"

There I sit all still,

Empty glasses stare hopelessly,

Oh! He’s got it all wrong,

But he isn’t singing my song...

Come back,

Make my dreams come true,

Empty bottles lie in pain,

Here I am all serene, in vain,

Anger I’ve learnt to let go,

Then why is it so slow,

You got my back,

Now make my dreams come true,

I’m screaming out loud,

You can’t hear,

Break it... break,

All around I see fear,

What use is life if it doesn’t end?

Why wear a mask if it doesn’t blend!

Taken aback by the multitude,

Everything they say is just a prelude,

These things, my friend, you can’t construe,

In the end... no one waits for you...

Come back, make my dreams come true

Come back, make my dreams come true

Come back

Make your Dreams come true...

A powerful poem. I could feel the desire to find happiness.

The ending made this poem complete. Take two people with similar dreams to know happiness and love. A excellent poem.

. i like how your language is evolving, abhas ... it's becoming less ornamental and more intense ... the narrative here is also powerful ... it's almost as if the poet was actually reciting these words ... very compelling poetry ... haseeb is right ... you do write through the heart ...

. about dreams ... i dunno what to say ... ever since i got here ... i am stranded in one speck of time ... my wounds bleed and i feel so burdened that i can hardly think except about the grave pain that i am in ... sinking this deep is something i just didn't expect ... but strangely ... dreams don't die ... i look at both the anthologies and think ... they are there ... they are timeless ... when i have it in me ... i'll distribute them ... it's not over ... i don't think anything's over until we're over ... perhaps life is the biggest dream come true ... if it wasn't then all it would take for us to bury dreams are decisions ... but that's not so ... hence the torment ... and hence right here is poignant poetry expressing that torment ... i absolutely loved this poem ... it talks to me like nothing else ...

Everyone has this "dream come true" thing of his own... After a while, the reactive capacity decreases... Man learns to accept... to become docile... You write through your heart my friend...
