She Just Said

She Just Said

A Poem by Abhas Kumar Rai

She just said "it's all right"
It thrutched me in to the storm,
Something red gushing in veins was feeling warm,
Muscles were crunching my bones,
Crackling noise was akin to braking gravestones,

I said to her "I'll be all right".
All the red carriers were about to blast,
It's not that all white smokes made it to boil fast,
I got clinched in to the memories of her grin,
I trusted her, cherished her but all was just brim.

She just said "Move ahead"
It churned the teeth & the foamy venom rose,
I was pushed inside me exceeding the dose,
Charcoals were burning with glittery shine,
Even though I was waiting co'z she was divine.

I whispered " I have moved on"
My legs were jammed with visible cracks formed,
Red fluid was dynamic but it was all transformed,
Heart and brain were not in coherence so clash was on,
I fell down & lost my crown, that's how I moved on.

Hi Abhas - gotta love that word 'thrutched' - brilliant !!
The translation isn't great but the feeling is more than effectively conveyed. Its beautifully bittersweet.
