Spectral Silence

Spectral Silence

A Poem by A Boy who Dreams
"

Silence is everything's suicidal deep inside no one knew.

"
I HEAR NOTHING...
but the frightening wall
of my heart.
I HEAR NOTHING...
but the deafening sounds
of my tears.
Remorse
and regret;
pain
and discontent;
DIGGING DEEPER INTO MY
SOUL;
STRIKING ME WITH THEIR
CLAWS;
BITING ME WITH THEIR
FANGS;

As I...
stood...
drenched in blood,
eyes wide open,
repugnant.
My body trembled with fear,
disgruntlement
and hate...
Trapped in this spectral silence
OF EMPTINESS....
AND DOOM...
  waiting for an absolution;
  waiting for an answer
  waiting for a sign
that the sun might come
and unleash its energy...
Hoping,
hoping,
Before I succumb
into a deep sleep.
Hope is only a wake's end.
