Teenage Angst

At first,
It was rainbows and butterflies.
I thought we'd compromise.
I thought it'll move us along.
But then came heartaches,
Suddenly, all we feel is heartbreaks.

Where did we go wrong?
I thought I was destined to fall,
but we fell�"
apart.

I knew it,
this is not meant.
We were a two different books,
from an old wooden shelf.

Ironic, as some people usually say.
I thought we would last,
I thought we will stay.

How can we, though?
When this relationship is already full of angst.
