The Nature of Pain

The Nature of Pain

A Poem by disconnectedspirit
"

Where we take our pain.

"

The nature of pain is quite divided,

We can either be lightening that flashes,

Angrily and violently a storm.

Or

We can be in bitter darkness,

Small bits of light shining in the background,

Water runs through the middle keeping the shades moist and growing.

or

It can wash down on you like rain,

Bringing tears that cover your face,

Grief stricken with not much of a voice really left.

or

It is like the cold and bitter winter,

Stuck in ice and a frozen state of anger,

Unleashing fury and laying a cover over you.

or

We are sitting looking out,

Watching reflections of our actions or thoughts,

In solitude and stuck in a twilight setting.

What do we do to heal pain?
