Oh What Have I Become?

Oh What Have I Become?

A Poem by ac979a7x

From here to down yonder, a sea of masses gather

Thousands of fist raised up in the air, legions rallied for war

Locked and loaded, we gear up to take the stand.

Started in a basement, to playing sold out stadiums.

My nightmare once a farfetched dream. Money hoes and clothes.

The fame and fortune like glamour and glitz, quickly fade

As the final curtain shuts, booze and broads are all that awaits.

Clock strikes midnight, while I ponder what I've become.

Face flat upon a mirror, never wake up feelin like P. Diddy.

A strange man stares back, no that ain't Mama’s boy.

Once a man filled with joy, now left with an empty hole, filled with blow.

Before the night is done, all temptation must be gone.

War is ultimately lost, will I ever live to see the sun?

Staring down double barrels, desolation and exhaustion.
