Inception

Inception

A Poem by ac979a7x

Moved towards light, only further into darkness.
Slowly lost all clear mental state,
Life is bland even cakes and ale.
Full of desperation, now my darkest time has dawned.
A conscious overwhelmed with guilt.
Muscle memory from when I was ten
Both knee’s bent, drew two hands together,
Closed sleepless eyes, and bowed my head.
Mind came to naught, unsure on what to say, why?
Never bothered to learn a Sunday school Prayer.
Began a narrow path, and snorted onto the wide path.
Believed I was fine, inception grew day after day
Conquered my mind, then began pulling my strings.
Judgement awaits, beg for mercy when I plead my case.
