For you, my Love

For you, my Love

A Poem by Adam

I dance my do's,

I damn my dont's,

I sing of my worries,

I silence my weaknesses.

All this, I do

For you, my Love.

My pen is my

Sword,

My paper, my

Shield.

I march upon the

foes which lie Sliently

within the Dark corridors

 of my mind

with Pen ablaze

and Paper held high.

All this, I do

For you, my Love. "

Sir,"cries the moon,

"What, pray tell, is

the Meaning of Love?

Why  Does Love hurt yet

one Lives not without

such pain?"

"Child," says I,

"your Love Must surely

be but a jest! My

Love is found by the

One Tree within the

Hearts of all!"

I pay him my dues As

I turn and leave him

 with a smile.

All this, I do

For you, my Love.

This is an interesting poem, with a bit of dreamy twist. The only thing I feel the need to bring up is that some of the lines could have been a bit smoother. Paragraphs four, six, and seven were a bit hard to read with their choppy rhythms. Still, it was a fun poem.

This is a great write. Love is a hard thing to describe and it's what sometimes give us strength to go on. It is true that love hurts but it also repairs! Thanks for sharing this great piece!

A lot of emotion put in a short, but well written poem.
