Ignite The Fire

We strive to hear the word, we yearn to listen.

We’ll soon see the fire, and our eyes will glisten.

To live the Lord’s word, we’ll ignite the Fire.

To bring the Lord close, we’ll accept the holy gift.

 

 

God offers no more than the gift of Life,

The gift of Love, and the gift of Faith.

God gave us our hands to work on the Land.

And through our hands, the Lord lives on as planned.

 

 

We are fearful and doubtful of women and men.

Trust isn’t something we easily lend.

But it’s time that we left all our worries behind.

For God has not given a spirit of fear,

but of power and love and of a sound mind.

 

 

Let your conduct be without greed,

Be content with such things as you have.

For God has said, “I will never leave you, 

Nor ever forsake you.”

God’s the reason for the happiest moments you’ve had.

 

 

Most to this day feel their Faith has been sleeping.

Numb to the pain, that reigns with those weeping.

God’s words though remain, “I will never forsake you.”

Those words once heard, are enough to awake you.

 

 

Our Heavenly Father will guide us forever,

We release Doves to the sky, and keep just a feather.

Through beautiful music that’s sung by the choir,

We feel the igniting, bursting, burning of our soul’s fire.
