maybe if the hair on your arms longed for mine

then maybe, just maybe, we'd let them intertwine

maybe if I were different, your hungry eyes would always come back

then maybe, just maybe, I'd stay around and let them snack

maybe if I weren't here, you'd look at where I used to be

then maybe, just maybe, we could be, you and me

Maybe, a very indifferent word. It could be true or it may ring false. But always there remains an abiding hope. I don't usually quote from the write in my reviews, but this one line really reached out and grabbed me: "...maybe if I weren't here, you'd look at where I used to be..." and that person would realize how important you were in their life...maybe? take care...dan
