A Field of White Rocks

A Field of White Rocks

A Poem by stargirl23

I lay in between blades of grass

peering at a distant white rock

it stood so high and so pure

and it lay amongst a field of white rocks

and behold"from what was so high it must have been Heaven"

a filthy, fertile foot came down

and it covered and converted millions of white rocks

that's the order now: us, a foot, God

Very philosophical and deep in meaning. I find a spiritual touch in these lines as well.
Its good when a poem gets you to think as well. Well done

Thank you!
Powerful statement here. I love it. But think I would have liked a spiritual reference after the last line to show how much we aren't. Might be overkill, just me, lol.

Adi, A very impressive philosophical musing. The symbolism contained in the white rocks is very strong and your equation at the end ties it up neatly in a softly spiritual way. Great job. take care...dan

Oh, brilliant, I like this Adi, makes one wonder on what role we have to play out in this realm and also why...really cool :)
