blinding darkness

blinding darkness

A Poem by adisaurajsen

Why do blind men see more?

To blind men, the sun  may just be a mundane object.
The warmth of it's a glistening golden rays
act as the only aid for their minds eye to visualize its
immortal glory.

The sun like everything else is dark and depressing
depending off-course on the moods of the thinker
who sees within,in the darkness of space
the true colours and lights
of the extraordinary and unimaginable.

With this amazing capacity to see within,
sights and the sounds of the world
seem a rather unreasonable or undesirable privilege
I should think.

For the fools like me and you Maya, who can see
truly cannot -appreciate the beauty of the world.
The joys of  moving with the flow of lines and curves
that dazzle around us.

The smile on your face and the glisten
of your teary fiery eyes are insignificant to him, not me.
He, the darkness, is a whole world within us.
One we cannot explore enough to unlock his mysterious secrets.

They are amazing people,
The blind,
They can see things as what they truly are.
They see darkness during times of light.
They see me and you.

I can see
I don't stare at the sun though
I am blinded by your light
And that is why.
