WORDS HURT

some words are so strong that they can break you down

Don't open your mouth

Cause all I hear is s**t 

And those talks straight in my heart they hit

They make me cry

Can't you see that in my eyes

That I break every time

When your tongue crosses the line

They hurt me they make me choke

They run over all my hopes

They make me suffer

It gets hard to breathe

I look alive outside, but I am dead underneath

Pack your tongue and take away your s****y s**t 

Cause the words you say really hurt

Words do hurt. My wise Grandfather taught me. "Nothing good to say. Say nothing. Negative words and actions will lead you to causing permanent damage." I like the honest feel and the desire of this poem. Thank you for the excellent poem.

Very intense poem. Its a very personal look inside a person who is deeply and emotionally confronted by a hurtful world. Strong imagery on how this person feels. Good job. Last line, should it read 'words' instead of 'world'?

This is a really nice poem. Very true, words hurt, sometimes more than actions because words hold more meaning. As a writer, I would hurt them right back because your words hold more power than theirs. Nice write! :)

"Those talks" is foreign lingo for proper English lingo.
This is very still, silent, and says a lot in places. It's also rapid, loud, and a little venomous. It doesn't get whiney. I thought about it. It's not a complainer either. Nice!
