Confidence

Confidence

A Poem by Black Ink

There's a difference between COCKINESS
and CONFIDENCE ...
I glide into the room and what do I see?
A room of beautiful people on the same level as me,but I know who I am and what my purpose is in life;that's confidence
I walk into the room and what do I see?
A room of people that could never be as beautiful me. They worship the  ground I strut upon, that's cockiness
Confidence is catching everyone's attention as soon as you walk into the room without uttering a word, your presence and the way you carry yourself speaks loud enough
You stand your ground for what you believe in and learn to love everything about you, even your flaws of course
Cockiness is sitting yourself high in a throne and screaming out to the world everything about you that's wonderful, repeadily stating nobody could possibly ever in their life time get to where you are now. Have you ever noticed the shells of the souls you've crushed to be where you are? I'm guessing you know what happened to them...
Behind that wall of cockiness is a lost person searching that confidence you see in a few people
So you slipped on a coat of cocky,it fitted so well, and you played the role that followed the coat.
But now its time to take off the coat and find that confidence within you
Because you have it,like a diamond in the rough you were born to shine
A very imperfectly perfect young woman once told me to live by ABC and that lost person inside will become found
Which is
Always
Be
Confident.

Stay Fierce

confidence must be beautiful! cockiness don't sound half bad either,

you have to say a word if you are writing on here, but maybe you can do this with pictures and music, some people definitely has a great effect that way,
