(Grey) 3-Down

(Grey) 3-Down

A Poem by Adam

Stay seated
Just some turbulence- believe it
But if tests are preceding
And sanity receding
Stay conceited

When vessels fall
Like the veins of alcohol
Or the opening in a plane wall
Don't fear and don't pray
Wait to be prey

When pieces lay to rest
In the snow swept field
Be God's guest
For your fate is already sealed

Let it cover you with warmth
While you shiver and weep
Let memory be your torch
And don't fear your exit from sleep

You've been there in another form
This is the last time, be reminded
That after a snow storm
Your home is not lighted
So build your fire
Sit and be thinned out to just the dire

Your last memory flashes
Before you left them
Before the very first of your crashes
Before entering the Wolf's den

So don't be afraid
That's what you hold onto dearly
Even if the end of your days
Hurt so very severely

Tell you be strong
On your hospital bed
Its been too long
Since you've heard what the impossible said
To live and die
Right on the edge
