Going wild

Going wild

A Poem by agypsysoul

Going into the wild

and not returning

until I’ve settled the aching

in my bones.

You’ll not see me

as I shapeshift

my hair an extension of branches

moonlight

my skin primordial as the moss on jagged rocks.

Going into the wild

I screamed

then whispered

where the ominous

is welcomed and the wind

holds me tenderly

Going into the wild

so I can bleed out

of this blackened heart

tainted by outer world nonsense

and my breath will mingle with

the vibration of the earth

and I will be whole again.

Simply stunned! Gorgeous piece...I felt it to my depths, the same aching resonates with my spirit too! The use of metaphor, “my skin as primordial as the moss on jagged rocks” par none. Yes, yes, yes! Take me there!
