Saint Kant Ageos

Saint Kant Ageos

A Poem by <3

As your hand traced my spine

I thought maybe this time

Maybe this time you'll love me

My car driving faster

past plastic and plaster

To a world of red concrete

Oh, you could be my savior

Been nailed to the cross before

With releasing razors

Sliced by spite down to the core

Maybe this time we'll learn

Maybe this time the tables will turn

Counting memories on fingers

The spirit that lingers

Haunting us down to our graves

You said that you loved her

Just my reminder

yours is the heart that saves

I'll play the simplest song

They'll all sing along

Thinking of different men

But the meaning is hidden

In your tawny eyes smitten

To a place only I've been

Oh, you could be my savior

Been nailed to the cross before

They said your behavior

he's just a bore but they came back for more

Maybe this time we'll learn

Maybe this time the tables will turn

Spinning in circles on pedastels

Because circles never end

They say that signs tell

But they also pretend

Just come back to me

Just come back to me

Oh, you could be my savior

Been nailed to the cross before

Now as you lay there

I'll try so hard not to fall to the floor

Maybe this time we'll learn

Maybe this time the tables will turn

Circles, in circles, We'll all fall down
