Salt

Salt

A Poem by sweetsaltywords

Remember when you were small,

you would be crying about something that

happened and it would feel like the end of the world

to you. And i would wipe your tears

and tell you to taste the salt each tear left.

Those moments left sweet imprints. But where are you

now to tell me the same words I told you

eight long years ago? I miss you.
