Stairway To Mine Soul, Pt.2 - And He Wept, With Agonized Tears Of Heaven...

A Poem by Ahmad Alhour

[ Stairway To Mine Soul, Pt.2 - And He Wept, With Agonized Tears Of Heaven... ]

And he wept...

As he screamed... with anguishe... at me:

"I Am The Maker,

I Am The Taker,

I Am The Breaker of All...

Obey me...

Follow the Divine Serenity!

And to my feet... Crawl!

As I shall forgive, as all sinisters fall !"

And he weeps... with agonized tears of heaven...

The northern winds carry his tears,

Where the forbidden gates

Once... were open to thee...

His voice raged through the void...

Across the mighty land and seas

Monuments, he said, shall tremble

And the Great... shall be weak...

As all... soon shall fall...

As the divine now bleeds

Man turns to empty seeds...

With vengence he seeks

No such pain, nor speach...

Yet to feel, or even to speak...

Humans will never witness the sorrowful might

As all angels fell once...

As thee for the innocent dawn of light...

Shall forever seek...

No aim for humans now...

As the stained essence of life... is gone...

Driven by blasphemous wind of the divine...

And so the segment meaning forlorm...

All the pain that we've sawn...

But granules of morbid breeds...

Of such story that is forlorn...

this is a testament reflectionby the intentionsof a fallen angel, the transporting feature really brings the heart to another place and time, buty more so another plane of thought, where ther demise of certainty
plays out and the soul lingers to listen to every word that drifts upon the northern winds, a painting of words and the landscape is what strikes me most, a dreamscape and a deserted battlefeild. magnifiecent

the elements of darkness are well added and well materialized!
most dark poems include forced dark elements just to apply the idea of darkness, which consumes the beauty and meaning of the poem! while this is one of the few dark poems that i have read, which have an obese amount of mind twisting imagery and deep meaning!
what i really like about this poem is that it expresses a personal struggle... plus it is not far from the previous one in the series... different perspective but the same struggle!
i like the brutal honesty in this poem!
maybe you should try to express different perspectives of your struggle in the next poem! it would be great if you can show something different next time... this idea has been well consumed.
move on to the next level!
take good care
love and respect brother!

long live rock n' roll
and hail the gods of traditional metal

"as we see... its our first step
in this world of clearness view...
open your minds... just see the truth
behind the lies of religion proof" (Meta-politania)
