A Poem by Billy

a kiss,

another up and down the starry sky,

so evenly seperated: a tiny opening

tearing, burning, nothing,

and nothingness is overwhelming, is everything,

is you as you melt

and drip away.

and i am only ashes

while you become a snowy cloud,

a summer rain, a drop of water for a

lily pink with newborn children

while knots have tied inside the softness of your soul,

you've grown so tender and red and swollen,

swollen till the sky itself ran with tears

falling again on winter evenings

falling again for me
