MEMORIES

this has the feeling of misery and i don't really like this poem i wrote

I have no idea on what is happening

One thing for sure, my heart is breaking

I made a big mistake,

Which now I cannot take

 

If only I can bury it underground

Or throw it out in the grains of sand

Forget everything for goodness’ sake

It only makes my heart break.

 

I always pretend I don’t have any feelings for you

But what can I do?

You keep coming back inside my mind

You’re like a disease of some kind.

 

I know I should be happy

Because now, you and I are both free

Yet, I cannot stop memories from coming

Memories I keep remembering.
