Valentine's Day at College

This isn't my school, but regardless.

The moment I saw you

I was so relieved

All those moments of worry

All those sighs I've heaved

The thoughts that worried me

That wouldn't let me be

 

The pains that reside

So deep in my mind

Keeping me from fun

Even when playing around

It was so terribly bad

I almost emptied my booze fund

 

The shots that worried me so

The people I will never know

The tears I may never cry

That'll never again say hi

 

The bittersweet relief

That comforted my grief
