Human Duty

Human Duty

A Poem by Amber Bein

The sunlight glows a golden gold

The sky as deep and mysterious as the sea

Forests full of thick green lusciousness

Towering mountains still and indifferent in time

The river so calm and lazily flow

Every inch saturated in natural beauty

Only to be destroyed by human duty

You paint such a vivid beautiful picture. The last sentence makes me so sad to think of what we are doing to the planet.

I love the alliteration of the 'g' in the first sentence!
Nice job!

Thanks for the feed back. I also really like the first sentence.
