Letters From Heaven

Letters From Heaven

A Poem by Amber Bein

Mommy, I am not afraid

To go into the light

Where I will be blessed by the light

Mommy, I am not afraid

To take this new journey alone

For I’m only going to my new home

Mommy, I am not in pain anymore

Caused by all the hurt I suffered

Due to all the bad that happened

Mommy, I am not in pain anymore

The hurting is all gone

All by just falling asleep, without a yawn

Mommy, please don’t cry

I want you to still be really happy

If you want to have another son, it’s not wacky

Mommy, please don’t cry

You’ll see me soon again

So be at peace, anywhere and when
