The Truth

People always talk about the truth. 

“You can’t handle the truth!” 

Like the truth is a thing… 

…like somewhere there’s this person… 

…with a big book, labled “The Truth”. 

They just write everything down.

The truth about the truth is…

…it’s not only as subjective as anything else… 

…it’s as fluid and dynamic as anything else. 

What the truth was a hundred years ago, 

isn’t what the truth was yesterday. 

What you’re calling the truth today, 

certainly won’t be the truth tomorrow.

It’s just an arbitrary term… 

…to describe the lies, we’re presently in.
