Summer

Summer

A Poem by Aaron Jinks
"

I love Summer, I have always loved it. Every time the dreaded winter comes around this is always goes through my mind.

"
Enter life, enter colors and radiance
The painful cold runs at the sight of the inviting warmth
The stage is being set for the firefly lit nights, the blazing late night fires, the young love kisses
Summer is coming, sending its messenger, Spring, to rid of the snow and quick days
The cold days are running low
And warmth, fun, love, joy, beauty, are coming
Are you ready?

Using "enter" in the first line immediately brought a theatre stage to my mind. In fact, that's what I see throughout this entire poem now that I've read it all. I'm impressed. I will be checking out your other works. ^-^
