Down to the last drop.

Down to the last drop.

A Poem by Vampiress of the states

 Your    Confused
Only a   new born
but you know what your thirst is quenched by
The only thing  possible for you
Blood
So you run
through the city,
through the woods,
all  through the state,
until  your down to the last drop
And there's no more blood here
You do the only thing possible,
You leave, to scavenge for more blood.

Author's Note

Vampiress of the states
This is about a new born vampire, who is confused but she knows that she has no choice but to drink blood.
So she goes throughout the town, the city, and state in search of blood.
She kills everyone but is not satisfied, then she migrates somewhere else in search of it.

I like the way the poem ended, (very visual) but can I suggest not spelling the whole poem out, for example, instead of 'blood' you could describe the blood, to encourage the readers to interact with the poem, and to use their initiatives :)
