Falling

Falling

A Poem by Amanda

THINKING THOUGHTS...
THOUGHTS OF YOU.

HOLD ME CLOSE,
DONT LET GO.

WAKE ME UP,
AND KISS MY FACE.

HOLD ME TIGHTER,
IM SLIPPING AWAY!

YOU HELP ME BREATHE,
HELP ME LIVE.

I NEED YOUR HEART,
OR CAN YOU GIVE?

SLIPPING FURTHER STILL,
I NEED YOU MORE THAN EVER NOW.

BUY ME FLOWERS,
OR JUST RUB MY HAIR.

I NEED YOUR LOVE,
OR CAN YOU SHARE?

DONT BACK DOWN,
I NEED IT NOW!

AND THE FURTHER I SLIP,
I WANT TO FALL.

NOT A VISIT?
OR A CALL?

IVE LOVED YOU FIRST!
FROM THE START..

BUT LOOK WHAT YOUVE DONE,
YOUVE BROKE MY HEART..

**AT LEAST FOR NOW,
IM NOT THE ONE.

BUT HEY,
IM JUST A GIRL.

AND ITS JUST A GUN.
YOU CHOSE HER,
AND NOW IM DONE.

Excellent flow, I enjoy poems that dwell on the aspects of pure human emotion because it enables both the reader and the writer to look within and make revelations about oneself and how we proceed with life and existence and of course love. Great job on this one I really enjoyed it.
