It's buried

It's buried

A Poem by A.B
"

a poem about love . . . ending

"

It’s buried now

This cloud of doubt

Dissolved in memory

Maybe, or denial

A powerful sense of nonsense dragged me back home

Stopping, blocking

A stream of unforgivingness and regret

It’s buried now

This moon of hope and letting go

That thread of unspoken answers for unasked questions

Weaving Forbidden love

Hidden

Deep below

It’s buried now

The butterfly

The morning in the fog

Those dancing stars in the bright sky of a deceivable night

Leaving me watching, recalling

Mumbling

Stumbling and falling

It’s buried now

This story

A fantasy of weak hearts, lies and unfair battles

Where all the sunsets were killed

And defeated

This fake glow of immature kisses

Prayers and wishes

It’s buried now

This dream . . .

All

Buried alive

Buried and yet remembered. Many parts to the relationship revealed in a mournful tune.
