Learning How To Be Alone

Learning How To Be Alone

A Poem by Alexandria Miller

Learning how to be alone
Was quite an adventure.
Everywhere I went felt like
A film of memories playing back
And everything I saw in myself
I saw through your eyes.
So now I'm shedding my skin
And seeing the world in a new light.
And for the first time
This light is my own.
