I Float

I Float

A Poem by Alexandria Miller

The currents of the rapids in my mind
churn all of my thoughts and emotions
into a whirlpool of madness.
And through the ups and the downs
The ins, outs, the choking and gasping
Eventually,
I close my eyes and relax my body
And I float.
