Smile for me

A really, extremely, crappy poem I recently wrote. It is absolutely terrible. But it is about a person who can be happy just from a smile.

Smile for me

I want you to smile for me.

When you smile, the world seems like an okay place.

And when your arms encase me, I have no need to cry.

But when you are gone, everything stops.

It goes dark.

My hands reach for you, only to be met with air.

But if you smile, just once, it will lead me

To the end.
