Coffee shop revision

A Poem by ARLorenz
"

Written on my second day at the cafe

"

Yesterday I got it wrong

The man behind me in line was not impatient

He was late

Today he smiles at another customer

And jokes about the dog doing tricks outside

Today, instead of silence from the regular crowd,

I hear laughter

It's a relief to know

my perceptions are so variable

that one day I can see nothing but hostility

and the next day nothing but love.

I liked the follow-up. Life changes from day-to-day. As do our perceptions. But we're still all crazy.

Perfect part 2. It makes everything even out and shows the character really changed their perspective on who 'real people' are really. Great job!

About
I'm unsure how to construct this About Me section. What do you want to know? I write about myself in an exaggerated fashion. This keeps me honest and critical. I don't read poems much but that'.. more..
