Sun Tree

Sun Tree

A Poem by Alex Thurley-Ratcliff

Sun Tree
Sun-tree tree-sun
The cold wet glass of morning sky stands between us
Between the sun and the tree
Between the window and me
Between the sky, the tree and the light
I have seen the tree through the light
consumed by the gold of a winter-dawn sun
Now consume me, tree-son and son-tree
a holy pagan fire with a heart for dancing
in the Fatherlight and son’s furnace

I enjoy your writing ... It's not weighty yet says much.

Thanks again :)
I want to create emotion and thought without an overt mental processing.
