Hurt

Hurt

A Poem by Emily

I need a hold on my life.
I've got a heart full of strife.
I'm not doing my best.
Pain balled in my chest.

I may smile,
Once in a while.
That's not a sign,
That everything's fine.

Inside I'm harmed.
Was my Heart farmed?
Broken at its peak?
I feel like a freak.

I can't do as I please.
I would never be at ease.
Like a wolf with no pack,
I have a tendency to slack.
