Reality vs Wonder

Reality vs Wonder

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

Does mystery scare you?

"

Late, languishing in his moment, wondering whether late meant anything at all.

His mind turned to practicality, briefly a tick of the clock summoned his ears,

he wanted to drift off, find another place in the universe but gravity kept him

from his wish. Moreover, reality had a way of impinging on one’s sense of self.

He eased out of his reverie, coming close to taking it to the end of time, but

the scare pinched his senses and turned his face away from the shock of the

mysterious.
