Coldest of Dreams

Coldest of Dreams

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

Cardiac Arrest dream

"

An old December breeze passed my heart
The chill decided to embrace me
Like a vast tundra on the plain
I hurried to opened & empty arms.
The cold laid waste on me
as I felt a pinprick charm
Something dangerous,
Something harmed,
It's a cold soul dream
Awaiting the day's alarm.

The poem is very good. You create places and memories. You create visions of the cold taking over mind and dreams, I could feel. A strong ending to the excellent poetry.
