Mom's Gone

Mom's Gone

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

The Death of Mom

"

Mom's gone to the winds,
She wants me to pity her
because I wasn't there for her passing.
Sorry Mom!
I can see her flying in the clouds,
A celestial being,
free of all that weighted her down.
She loves her awakening,
Now is her chance to love her husband,
Perchance she visit the magical realms,
Carry herself like an earthly angel
She possessed while living.
Good bye Mom,
I'll breathe deep so the air you are in
is a part of me.
Good bye Mom,
I love you.
