Return to the Sky

Return to the Sky

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

leaving imagination for reality

"

He sat in the alleyway with clouds and dreams,
His whole life before him in openness and shrouds,
His smiled stretched across miles of darkness,
He lived in a sanctuary made of imagination.

On stepping out from his world of wonder,
The horrors of life soon surrounded his sunder,
Duality came aboard his ship and home,
Thoughts of beauty were peppered with style.

Now he sat in his alleyway made of flesh and sin,
His duality went far into the lies of men,
Stretching the millennium mask into the sun,
He came back to see his world still alive,
So he found a way to return to the sky.

i'll take imagination, thank you...

it's a better world these days...

i like the "duality" of this poem...

"flesh and sin"
but fantasy is a grin.
