Jackson meets Raccoon

Jackson meets Raccoon

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

the deadly fight that never was

"
I was jumping out of my comfort seat
when Jackson met Rocky Raccoon
but this was no Rocky,
more like the real McCoy!
In this universal mayhem
blood, guts, screams & injury
follow each other like old habits.
My NO BELLOWED followed by several more no's.
The raccoon climbed the tree
Jackson stood his ground
he came to me intact & sound
I felt the universe on solid ground.
