HOME IN THEE

I stare into the stillness of the forest,

I know it looks back at me,

I can feel its intimacy,

it pulls

I sense the trance

walking this way

numinous inklings,

we embrace a symbiosis

falling into our own heaven

i am forest in the branch of a tree

looking back at a former me

he sees my stillness

he looks back at me

pull……….

a trance beckons,

i am home in thee.

Hi Kelly!

Glad you are back. It's snowing today. We might have a winter wonderland. If so I'll post a pic! Be well!

Love, Al

It sounds like your own paradise, Alfred...I must admit, I'm a bit jealous of that kind of "backyard". I bet the dogs enjoy just as much as you!

My best,
Kelly

I have no idea who loves it more especially when the deer visit. I'm a real fool for the forest.

i think if i lived close to a forest i would feel the same pull....wow, actually i do live with a forest in my backyard...and i do feel this...
love it.

The backyard is forest Ana and I am always entranced by its closeness to me. I bought the house for that reason. When winter snow visits and the snow clings to the trees I walk with the dogs in a wonderland! Thank you Ana!

This is a wonderful poem Al, induces a very trance like feeling.
It seems the speaker is at peace and like some animals when ready to pass he takes the last journey there. Home.
