MISSING THE CALL

MISSING THE CALL

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

anxious to write

"

Missing the Call

Often times you can hear the
words pass by you.
The writer pauses in his emptiness
fumbling with a heart left behind in solace
he renders himself gone from view
Like a late chapter in a book review
He wells inside his ancient call
finally settling for a poem
misprinted on his soul.
