On the Great Plains

On the Great Plains

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

early life threats

"

On the Great Plains

The Great Plains lies in my mind,
A Neolithic boy stands his ground,
Fears beyond the imagination haunt his eyes
While wild beasts track him down.
What little chance of grace for him,
What little chance of soul beginning to unfold,
What tale is there that can save a newborn human
from descent of his recent evolutionary kin?

Seems to be majesty thinking of a boy standing tall in a meadow if untamed life... and their is that undefined air of strength and purpose. The mind can be a harsh canvas to live within.

wow, yes, Al...what a thought...those born today? what is in store for them?

how bad will it get by the time they are old enough to make their own way...what will be left as the world just seems to disintegrate....
