An Introduction to Your Writing

Wedded to your brow

in silence’s time

words float upward

tantalizing mind

a pause

a stutter

some relief in sight

my meaning in a cell

meeting you here

among the pastel verbs

black nouns

adjectives red that

scream aloud in the night.

Who am I but a whisper living inside a scream!

Another great line... stick a title on it and post it :)
the night owl's relief is in the colorful words he pens to appease the Muse... this is a wonderful write on your writing, Al...

I was sitting in my mental stew, cooking with colors, sampling here and there. Surprise!

Thanks Jacob!

nice use of color in the last several lines of this...the "pastel verbs/ black nouns/ adjectives red"

they all scream...words rioting in a sense, almost like what has happened in too many cities---words float upward like the smoke of the flames of the burning minds.
