Memorial Day II

Memorial Day II

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

souls everywhere

"

Memorial Day II

Take note of your feet
They walk on Earth
in a timely beat
You know it's course

If air was our soil
Men's soul floating in air
We all could see the cost of free air

We plow on
Seeking daily bread
While below us is grace
that has gone to rare days

If you encounter a ghost
in your way
Thank him greatly for his sacrifice
in his many many ways.
