For Kenny & Debbie

For Kenny & Debbie

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

seeing old & new friends

"
For Kenny & Debbie
Rested in New Hampshire soil
Two friends appear in royal's atmosphere
Between smiles, embraces, chats of hello
We find our souls in unison once more
Upon a sky golden and unique
I meet a lady of impeccable breed
She loves my buddy with a heart so sweet
I feel Ken's happiness circling round his feet
With all the whistle of a happy friend
We dance and play like children again
When our bough breaks from our rumbled joy
We pick ourselves up and start over once more.

catching-up with old friends and making new ones is always a joy, no matter how old we get... and to see our friends find new joys in life is almost as good as finding them ourselves... great piece of writing, Al...

nothing like reconnoitering with old friends...and that feeling that we had seen them yesterday, no matter how much time is passed.
