The Empty Wind

The Empty Wind

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

falling out of poetry

"

The Empty Wind

Scattered
Leafs blowing among the wind
My alphabet losing its temporary sanity
gathering with the wind
blowing far away
my mind seeking the color of leaves
that came with my poetry
gone.......now.....l.......I sit in an empty wind.

I wrote this a few minutes ago. I didn't have a clue what or where I was going.

Thanks Jacob!

damn when those pages of poetry blow away before they even get a chance to grow on the branches of creativity...

but no dead "leafs" here....

this is so well presented in the brevity of a short breeze.
